Homeless Persons’ Memorial Service
Please Join Us for Our 2025 Homeless Persons’ Memorial Service.
National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day takes place each year on the longest night of the year, the winter solstice. Every year, on or around this night, Ascencia holds a service to commemorate the lives of the homeless members of our community who died that year.
Please join us for our 2025 Homeless Persons’ Memorial Service on Friday, December 19th at 5:00PM. The service this year will take place at Wee Kirk O’ The Heather at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA. This event is open to the public.
Together, we will memorialize the lives of Ascencia clients, past and present, who have died on the streets or in their own home. In many cases, this service will be the only commemoration of their lives. Thank you for helping us honor the memories of our clients.
We will also be collecting donations of jackets, gloves, hats, and blankets (new only) at the event. We hope to see you there.
