Are you looking for something helpful to do this Monday, Martin Luther King Day?

We have a job for you!  On Mon, Jan. 19 at 10:45 AM, please join us at Ascencia to help unload 4-7 pallets of food donated by Whole Foods in Glendale! We need as many volunteers as possible and we’d love to see you! Depending on the number of volunteers, we anticipate being done by noon! Drop by for any amount of time you can! We’re at 1851 Tyburn Street, Glendale, CA 91204.

“Oh, no!” you say, “I already made plans to do something else. But I still want to do something to help homeless people.”

Fear not! You can help with the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count or the Glendale Homeless Count!

If you want to see more done to help the homeless people in your neighborhood, you can help with the first step, which is to document that they are there.  This involves going out with at least one other person and surveying people who are sleeping on the streets.

If you do volunteer, check back and let us know how it went!  You can comment here or on our Facebook page at /AscenciaCA.

Thank you!
